Have you played in the “Tanks” of the 1990 year? It was one of the greatest games, even before people have invented online games. It was sold on cartridges for video game consoles, which in the 1st or 2nd generation did not have enough memory and computing powers to have games on the hard drive of a console. Did they even have a hard drive?

A feature of this game is that you have to shoot dead all level opponents, which are tanks. They just roam the territory and shoot everything around. Your task is to prevent them to shoot your base (located at the middle bottom) and you have pretty much time to make it because the spawning place of the foe tanks is at the top center. Before they get to you, they have to get through the labyrinth of walls, some of which may be shot and some – can’t.

This free online game is made in full accordance to the original offline version of 1990 (imagine that – it was done around 30 years ago!) and so you only have 3 lives for the entire game. If you are killed in any level, you get back to level one. That’s a confusing feature for modern players but hey – this is a strict copy of a genuine piece, so either you enjoy it or leave it.
